I fell in love instantly with this wonderful Scandinavian family that moved to Hawaii for a year. Our sons played water polo together and it was a delight to show them Hawaii, enjoy our beaches together and with their fabulous dog......
When I paint a commission, I try to capture characteristics that are unique to the family and the story. The Mokuluas were this size from where the family lived on the beach and their son wore these shorts often. The dog was such a sweetheart!
